The Nearly New Shop, an upscale thrift store near the Pleasantburg Dr. and Laurens Rd. intersection, is currently having a summer clearance sale – 40% off all clothing! (Get driving directions here.)
I discovered the Nearly New Shop a few months ago and have been pleased with the quality of the clothing there. They also sell miscellaneous household goods including books, furniture, and kitchen and dining stuff.
At the beginning of July, they had children’s clothes (mostly nice name brands and in excellent condition) on sale 50% off! I was able to get eight items for $16 total – an average of $2.00 each! Brands included Gymboree, L.L. Bean, Old Navy, Copper Key, and J. Khaki Kids – all of them of the quality that will wear well, wash well, and last and last!
There are also multiple ads and a display in the main window advertising "Fall Bag Day" – $8.00 per bag on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
